February & March 2023 SWC Ice Times for club members (6:30 to 8:00 p.m.): Tuesday, Feb. 14th (Time Trials) Thursday, Feb. 16th Tuesday, Feb. 21st Thursday, Feb. 23rd Tuesday, Feb. 28th Wednesday, March 1st Thursday, March 2nd Tuesday, March 7th Wednesday, March 8th Thursday, March 9th Tuesday, March 14th Wednesday, March 15th Thursday, March 16th Tuesday, March 21st SWC's Fred Cole Learn-to-Speedskate Training Program / Winter 2023 Learn to speedskate with legendary The Saratoga Winter Club! Four training sessions and one skate session with the club. Dates: Jan. 26th, 31st, Feb. 2, 7 & 9th 2023. Times: 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. at The Weibel Ave. Ice Rink. Learn basic speedskating techniques on and off the ice. $50 individual fee or $90 per family of 2 covers instruction, skate rentals (if available) and US Speedskating required insurance. (Additional family members $15 each). Proper safety equipment must also be purchased ahead of time. Skaters must be able to stand on skates, move forward and stop. Saratoga Winter Club's Saratoga Cup Speedskating Meet on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 The Saratoga Winter Club will hold the annual Saratoga Cup and NorthEast Series I Short Track Speedskating Meet on Saturday, November 12th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Weibel Avenue Saratoga Springs Ice Rink. Admission is free and open to the public. Speedskaters from the Capital District as well as from Vermont, Massachusetts, New Jersey and beyond will compete at this East Coast Tradition. Volunteers are still needed to help with off-ice positions including timers and judges.
